Christmas Party 2019

We organised a Christmas Party for more than 100 parents and children recently. Everyone dressed with Christmas outfits which made the whole venue full of festive atmosphere. Before the start of the Party, we arranged a Christmas ornament competition.

Parents Training

In order to enhance parents’ skills in teaching children with ASD and relieve their parenting stress, our Case Coordinator provided a training session for parents. The training included teaching theories, group discussion, role-plays and hands-on practises.

Parents Training

Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder have varying degrees of behavioural problems, such as tantrums, out of the seat, and even self-harm. These behavioural problems seriously hinder children’s learning, and many parents reported that they do not know how to deal with these problems. In order to enhance the knowledge and ability of parents in home training, therapists of the APF Parents Resources Centre provided a training session earlier for parents of children undergoing our treatment programmes, teaching parents skills and tools for handling behavioural problems of their children, and encouraging them to use effective ways to improve the situation of their children continuously.

At Play Photography Gallery

APF collaborates with a young photographer Mr. Adrian Wong and a jewellery design brand 3.14SR initiated by Mr. Dickson Yewn, in which echoes with social responsibility, to organise a photography gallery named “At Play”. Adrian, the photographer of the gallery, would like to bring out one of the concepts – no matter general public or individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), we are all unique.

Autism Awareness Actions 2021

In response to “World Autism Awareness Day” on 2nd April designated by the United Nations, APF organises “Autism Awareness Actions” this year again for appealing the general public to understand autism and accept people with autism, and at the same time hope to raise more funds to help more children with autism.

Snowy Mooncake Workshop

We held a snowy mooncake workshop in late August to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. We together with the parents and children arrived at the venue excitedly and could not wait to make mooncakes. The instructor distributed the ingredients, then started to teach us how to knead the dough.
